The detail
Two of Medik8's Crystal Retinal products at strength 3: the 30ml face serum and the 15ml Ceramide Eye. Both use retinal, a form of vitamin A the brand says works faster than standard retinol, to smooth the look of fine lines, refine texture and brighten dark circles while you sleep. Start slowly: twice a week for two weeks, every other night for two more, then nightly, patch testing first if you're new to it. The catch: like any vitamin A, it asks for patience and a daily SPF the next morning, and it's not something to rush if your skin is sensitive.
