Why we chose it
It isn't the most exciting thing in your make-up bag, but it may be the hardest working. One swipe, a quick blend with a fingertip, and it stays put without creasing. Bobbi Brown built a brand on make-up that's easy to wear, and with dozens of shades this is a good example.
The detail
A creamy eyeshadow in stick form that glides on, blends with your fingertips and then sets, so it won't smudge, crease or slide off by lunchtime. It's waterproof too. Swipe it across the lid, then blend with a finger or a brush, and build it up for more depth. The range is huge, with 46 shades: the mattes are proper everyday neutrals, from pale Bone to deep Rich Caviar, and the shimmers are soft rather than glittery. The catch: because it's waterproof, soap and water won't shift it at the end of the day, so you'll need a proper make-up remover.
